Les Glieres is only a very short walk to the funicular linking in 7 minutes to the Paradiski resorts at Les Arcs - one of the largest and most varied ski areas in Europe and a mountain bikers and walkers heaven in the summer. The complex has its own large outdoor swimming pool and separate children’s pool with sun terraces for summer use. There is free parking on site in the complex' s own carpark. In addition a private garage is included for secure storage for your car, motorbike, cycles, kayaks or ski equipment. It is also just a few minutes walk to the centre of Bourg St Maurice, an attractive, traditional French town with restaurants, shops and markets open all year round. It is an ideal base from which to explore the stunning scenery of the Tarentaise Valley, Paradiski area and the Vanoise National Park, with easy access in all directions.
Description
This comfortable and light 1 bedroom apartment sleeps up to 4 people in a total of 26m². There is a private balcony overlooking the lovely pool complex and with mountain views. The whole apartment is well maintained and recently decorated. In addition to the complex's open carpark this apartment has a private garage included, good for secure storage for your car, motorbike, cycles, kayaks or ski equipment.
The separate light bedroom has a window and contains a new comfortable double bed. The lounge has a sofa bed which converts to a double bed. There are storage cupboards for guest use in both the bedroom and the main living area. Linen packs with good quality bedlinens and towels can be provided for a small charge.
The newly renovated apartment has a fully equipped kitchen space, with microwave, oven grill and fridge. The kitchen comes with plenty of cupboards for storage. Good selection of dishes, glasses and cooking utensils are supplied. There are enough to prepare whatever you want, be it a gourmet meal or bread and local cheeses with wine for lunch on the balcony!

Rates
The price includes the apartment rental for the period required and one final cleaning charge. The rates below are for the apartment rental, per week, and include utilities and the use of a private garage but not the final cleaning charge. The cleaning charge, which is an additional 55 euros per booking including tax, is shown separately so that it is not included more than once if you stay longer than one week.
Linen packs with good quality bedlinens and towels can be provided:-
- Double pack containing bedlinen for a double bed plus two large and two small towels: 30 euros
- Single pack containing bedlinen for a single bed together with one large and one small towel: 18 euros.
Taxe de sejour is payable for adults and children over 13 (0.8 euro per night per person).
Payment can either be in euros or pounds by bank transfer. You may also pay in pounds, euros or US dollars using our online payment facility which accepts both credit and debit cards.

Glad you enjoyed Bourg and your stay. The apartment is 20m2 so agree not huge - but not as small as some others either!! We would love to provide a 2nd key but with the security system in our residence they simply do not allow more keys to be cut. Apologies as I should have suggested that you can always leave the key in the keysafe whenever one person goes out and then it's just a matter of using the code for whoever returns first to retrieve the key and get back in.

We had a great time staying in the apartment, it was our first time in Bourg. We got the train there and it couldn't have been easier. 10 minutes walk from the train station was the apartment and then a 5 minute walk everyday to the funicular to go up the mountain.
We would also recommend the Skicase lockers at the top of the funicular (opposite the Month Blanc lift under the apartments). It was very reasonable and enabled us to leave our ski boots, skis etc. in the lockers overnight on headed boot warmers and then our walking boots in there during the day. Saves carrying everything to and fro. Also leaves you free wander around Bourg when you get back down the mountain.
Bourg is great as it is much more reasonable, with a wide range of shops and restaurants.
The apartment itself is perfect for 2 people and has a comfy sofa bed in the lounge and even more comfortable bed.

Bourg it self is an incredible location. In the summer there are many activities to keep one busy and its a charming town to roam. I also believe its perfect in the winter (linked to Les Arcs...)"

For a couple or 3 of you this is a good base for the resorts all around the valley. We did Tignes, Les Arcs, La Plange and St Foy all within easy reach. Lovely and clean and tidy plenty of parking space and no noise. All the amenities on the doorstep."
Our family of four enjoyed one of the best holidays we have ever had this new year at '13 Les Glieres' in Bourg Saint Maurice. The apartment is in a great location, a short walk from the shops, restaurants & bars of the town and more importantly to us, the funicular railway.
We took the funicular train every morning to ski on the slopes of Arc 1950 and 2000, where our children who were on their first ski holiday, had lessons every day. The large number of runs at Arcs 1600, 1950 and 2000 meant that while they were having their lessons we were able to explore a large area of excellent skiing piste as well as the scenic bars and restaurants at the resorts.
We would love to return to this apartment and repeat our holiday."
Fantastic to hear you were able to enjoy a great weeks skiing and the apartment worked out well for the whole family. Hopefully the restaurants down in Bourg were also good and cheaper for a family than eating up in les Arcs themselves.
My wife and I spent a couple days here in Summer 2013. We wanted to be walking distance to the town centre, but not right in middle of town. This unit is about five minutes walk to the Funicular rail way (that provides access to mountain ski/walking/cycling areas) and a five to ten minute walk to the town centre and shops.
The unit is clean and well maintained, with the pool being comfortably warm (in mid-July). Being one level up from ground, the balcony is semi-private. We left belongings on it without worrying about theft.
This was my first visit to Bourg St. Maurice and it's a lovely town. Heaps of restaurants cafes and shops just a few minutes walk away. The mountain was great for summer hiking and/or mountain biking. Must come back in winter with my skis.
The manager/owner was quite easy to work with and the keys are conveniently located in a small safe just outside the door. This makes initial access very easy (compared to other places I've stayed)."
