Les Arcs 1800
Situated at the heart of the domain, 1800 is the main meeting point for the Les Arcs domain and a confluence point for Paradiski. 1800 itself is made up of 4 pedestrian villages surrounded by forest located on a balcony on the mountainside over the Haute-Tarentaise with lovely views over the valley and to Mont Blanc. Once you have parked for the week you can leave your vehicle and enjoy the car free centre linked by covered corridors and public lifts to access everywhere without climbing hills! There is easy access to all the four resorts making up Les Arcs as a whole, with both links by ski lifts and navettes.
As well as unrivalled ski and boarding you can enjoy a wide variety of activities, including walking, dog sleds, tobogganing, skidoo and paragliding in winter as well as unparalleled mountain biking in summer. If you prefer your apres ski a little less adventurous, you can unwind in the many restaurants and bars.
The resort has a fabulous covered leisure swimming complex at Arc 1800 “aquafun” with 3,800m2 of aquatic space dedicated to wellness and relaxation. You can enjoy massage jets, its cave, whirlpool baths, massage beds and other facilities to unwind and forget everyday stress.
Single and double person sledges are available for a 900m banked toboggan track through the forest at Luge 1800, with sound and light projections along its length. This starts from the top of the new Villards Télécabine. Free with a Premium lift pass or 50% discount with the Essential pass.
Up at Les Arcs 2000 just above 1800 there is the new Les Arcs’ Zipline. You can launch yourself from the top of the Varet telecabin, and fly over the pistes. The Zipline can reach a speed of 130 kph with two possible options, solo or as a pair! This new activity is open to both skiers and pedestrians, in winter and summer.
