Stayed about a week A studio ideally located , at the foot of the gondola with all the shops nearby . The owner is next door and if you have any questions , he is always available and very friendly . With the bonus of fresh bread every morning .

Stayed a few nights Champagny is a lovely town, and the apartment is perfect for enjoying it. I've had a great time on skiing, and in part it's been thanks to Trevor's hospitality (the owner), the apartment itself (comfortable, very well equipped, as it appears in the photos, with a terrace with enviable sun and views), the tranquility and services offered by the village (tourist office, cinema, pool/spa, shops, supermarkets, excursions, buses, etc.), and everything at your doorstep. Trevor took care that on the first day there was no shortage of food to prepare a good dinner and a good breakfast (it is appreciated after a long trip), also every day to bring the bread from "La Marmottine" (visit if you like sweets), ask me how was the ski day, advise me to visit and appress ski activities, even draw me on the map the fastest route to the Aiguille Rouge in Les Arcs. For all this I definitely recommend it, and I hope to return soon.

Just returned from a fabulous two weeks with my son and a friend. On arrival, after a very long drive, Trevor and Jane could not have been more helpful in settling us in, ensuring we had everything we needed in the way of milk, bread, food etc. The apartment is comfortable, well equipped and suited our needs perfectly. As directed, we parked on the third floor of the free car park opposite and used the car as a ski locker. It is then only a short walk to the telecabine up into the ski domaine. This worked perfectly. The Paradiski area, including Les Arcs, is wonderful. Our hosts delivered bread at 7.15 each morning and sometimes surprised us with additional pastries. Champagny village is charming with a great atmosphere and considerably nicer than other villages I have stayed in in La Plagne. The restaurants are excellent (especially Le Barillon). Ski 2000 also gave my son a discount on ski and boot hire. Trevor and Jane are fabulous hosts and made sure we had everything we needed. Nothing was too much trouble. We met for coffee on the mountain, so it seemed more like being there with friends. (However, if you would prefer to do your own thing, they will respect this too.) We loved our stay and it is not hard to see why people return again and again. We will definitely be booking for next year. Thank you Trevor and Jane for making our stay so memorable and wonderful.

Following our holiday at Le Reclaz in January 2018 and having enjoyed our stay there so much, we decided to return this year for almost the whole of January. We cannot really add to the review that we wrote last time and which is still available to view, Trevor and Jane once again made us very welcome and once again we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, so much so that we have booked a further holiday there later during this winter season. Studio très propre confortable, bien équipé, avec une base d'alimentation à l'arrivée ( café, thé, sucre, pâtes, sauce tomate, eau fraîche, gâteaux, sel, poivre etc ) avec une vue superbe, au calme, avec le torrent sous nos yeux. Propriétaires extrêmement sympathiques, accueillants et avec énormément d'attention : pain frais tous les matins derrière la porte, parfois croissants ou pain sportif en plus. Que du bonheur! Le coût de la location était est vraiment compétitif.

Appartement petit mais très bien pour deux personnes (manque peut être un peu de placard pour le rangement des vêtements). Tout le nécessaire est présent et les achats effectués par le propriétaire à l'arrivée sont très appréciés (éponges, lait, eau, filtre, café, pâtes, sauces, sucre, thés, torchon ..). La table de salon sur la terrasse avec le store banne furent très appréciés aussi. Seul petit problème assez frustrant : impossible de faire griller du pain dans le grill pain sans déclencher l'alarme anti fumée.... Sinon toutes les commodités sur place. Parfait pour un prix raisonnable.

Très belle semaine au sein de la location de Trevor et Jane. L'appartement est tout à fait conforme à l'annonce. Il est propre et très pratique. La grande baie située dans le salon permet d'apprécier le matin au réveil le magnifique paysage et les chalets du village. Nous avons même pu assister au feu d'artifice de Courchevel le jeudi soir. En prenant le petit chemin situé à l'arrière des appartements, on accède très facilement à la piscine, on peut visiter le village et ses petites rues et on rejoint la navette en contrebas. Le pain frais apporté tous les matins par Trevor est une délicate attention que nous avons beaucoup apprécié.

Les propriétaires, anglais, sont très accueillants, n'hésitant pas à vous aider si nécessaire, et même skier avec vous si vous le souhaitez! Ils déposent, chaque matin, une baguette sur le pas de la porte. De plus le studio est à 2 pas du télécabine! Très agréable séjour!!

We have just returned from a 3 week stay in this apartment. We originally booked the apartment for 2 weeks, and then a couple of weeks before we were due to begin our holiday we booked an extra week and are so glad that we did. The apartment is clean, comfortable, warm, well equipped and very well situated with wonderful views of the mountains and Courchevel from the living room and very large balcony, which face south west and so have a bright and sunny aspect. In the warmer months shade is provided if required by an electrically operated blind. The bathroom which has recently been completely refurbished has a great shower and a large ladder type radiator which was very useful for drying wet gear. The hosts Trevor and Jane, who live next door, couldn’t have been more helpful and accommodating and made us feel very welcome. They provide many nice touches including delivery of a fresh baguette of your choice each morning which is left outside the door. We thoroughly recommend this apartment and are very much hoping to stay there again in the future.

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour dans l'appartement. Il est neuf et propre et conforme à l'annonce. Aucune mauvaise surprise, même plutôt des bonnes : des propriétaires très sympathiques qui vous déposent le pain le matin, qui ont prévu de quoi vous faire un premier repas... il y a tout le petit matériel nécessaire au quotidien : éponge, produit vaisselle etc... Bref je recommande !

We had a fantastic stay in this lovely apartment, made even better by the very warm welcome from Trevor and Jane (who deliver a fresh baguette each day!). They could not have been more accommodating during our stay. The apartment is modern and very comfortable with a fantastic view from the balcony. It is perfectly located in the centre of Champagny and only a short walk to the ski lift. We would definitely come back if we get the chance. Thank you!

great place!!! We had a great week in sunny champagny!! Trevor and Jane being next door was very handy. The apartment is great, perfect location and has everything you would need. It is a good size for a couple and could sleep a couple of kids. Champagny is a pretty village and the apartment is not in a large ugly block! It is a quiet village... just what we wanted. As for location for the pistes. The pistes closest to champagny are some of the nicest in la plagne (sunny) and as long as you are happy on a red (and its open) the last run down to the village is a good end to the day. We hope to come back one day!! Emma and Andy :)

Cosy apartment in great location, super-helpful owners live next door I travelled with my 20 year old son and arrived late on Saturday 9 Jan. It was easy to find and Trevor and Jane, who own the apartment and live next door were very helpful in "talking us in" after a very long day travelling. Trevor helped us with the luggage and came with us in the car to pick out the perfect free parking spot on the 3rd floor of the multi storey car park just over the road from which it is a very short distance to the ski pass office and gondola up the mountain. We were advised to leave our gear in car overnight. Good call! There were food essentials such as milk, water, tea and coffee, biscuits etc in the apartment and even some pasta and sauce which owners had thought might be useful as we were arriving late and may not have eaten. Very thoughtful! Every morning Trevor made the walk up the road to bring us bred etc for breakfast. Very welcome indeed as we had plenty of snow falling while we were there and it was great to wake up to a bag of goodies outside the door every morning! The apartment itself is small but worked perfectly for us. I commandeered the large sofa bed while my son made do with the bottom bunk bed in the hallway, together with the modern bathroom. Great view from the lovely balcony overlooking the village, church and mountains and you can even see Courchevel village in the distance. The kitchen area was well equipped, 2 ring hob which worked well and microwave, toaster, kettle, coffee maker etc etc. No oven but didn't need it. The TV has a built in DVD player and there were a good selection of DVDs on the shelf too. The CD radio also has an MP3 input, quite handy. We visited a couple of restaurants, ordered some lovely take away pizza, and the Spa down the road has all the usual food and drink stuff you might need. A selection of ski rental shops close by and a tourist office on corner made this a very compact, convenient and friendly village, on the quiet end of the nightlife spectrum! We found it very easy to take the quick gondola up to ski locally or connect with La Plagne and from there Les Arcs is possible. With a hire car we had a day about in Courchevel (35 mins to 1650) and even ventured on our last day to Val Thorens ( about 80 mins but worth it to get get superb snow on an unusually mild day when all other French ski resorts were suffering from rain). Finally, Trevor and Jane are very friendly hosts and were on hand to help with any questions and give advice. All in all, perfect!
